How to access voluntary care

  1. Call 811 (HealthLine) any time. A nurse or counsellor will help triage, recommend services, and start a referral to provincial detox or treatment.
  2. Contact a local Mental Health & Addictions Services office through the Saskatchewan Health Authority to book an assessment.
  3. Ask about wait times. If a public bed is weeks away, ask about non-profit options (Pine Lodge, MACSI, Salvation Army) and outpatient or peer supports you can start the same week.
  4. Bring a support person. Family, friends, or an Elder can attend assessments with you when consented.

Is a service missing or out of date? Let us know and we'll update this directory. We are a volunteer-run campaign — accuracy depends on community input.

Help build the voluntary system

Saskatchewan's voluntary treatment system needs more beds, faster access, and stable funding. That's what our campaign is about.
